Founder, Blaque Mária

House & Ghetto Techno soundstress and lifelong musician Symønne brings listeners an unforgettable musical experience with a dynamic stage presence and technical precision that has electrified dancefloors worldwide.

A multi-genre powerhouse, Symønne's musical style is a unique blend of high energy Chicago house, ghettotech, hardgoove, tech house, East Coast club, Miami bass, and techno that has captured the attention of music lovers in and beyond California.

Symønne brings a combination of gritty underground sounds with a bold, feminine, edge— expect hard-hitting basslines, playful vocals, infectious melodies, nuanced instrumentation, and the technical precision of 12-year veteran performer.

Symønne’s DJ journey began in the Boston underground in 2013, but it was after moving to the Bay Area a few years later that she rose to prominence, regularly playing at the city’s most prominent clubs as a favorite local supporting act, at Burning Man, and on radio shows Fault Radio, Alkaline Burner Podcast, and Polar Jungle. There, she co-founded an event Open House, which featured open decks and elevated local DJs, and had a weekly residency at F8 Nightclub.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Symønne has quickly established herself as one of the city's hottest DJs, playing regularly at popular nightclubs and prominent underground events to 1K+ person crowds, including Academy, Avalon, The Yost Theater, SXTCY, LICKNDIP, The LA Raver, Catch a Fever, The Jungle Hollywood, CatchOne, Los Globos, Blind Tiger, After Midnight, and more. Her versatility has also enabled her to deliver at numerous open-format corporate and private events.

Symønne's reach is expanding with recent debuts
in Connecticut, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, and Florida, as well as internationally in Paris, Colombia, and as the first female headliner to perform for Panama's largest underground techno party in December. This summer, Symønne will take the stage at Lightning in a Bottle in May and Babestock Fest in Austin, Texas in June.

As the founder and CEO of the collective Blaque Mária, Symønne champions marginalized communities in electronic music, curating unique and inclusive events that center women, non-binary, queer, and BIPOC artists. Symønne is the lead instructor and curriculum designer for Blaque Mária's DJ Academy.

Symønne's original productions, including her latest release, "Say WHAT?!" (on Humble House Records), the irresistible GloRilla tech house banger "BOOTY SHORTS," and ghettotech pop anthem "STARBØY (Ghetto Candy Flip)" are available on all streaming platforms. She has written and performed topline vocals on songs by World Famous House Crew and Xrstíana.

Symønne's hotly anticipated songs "Baby Mama" and "Leave Me" will be released this summer.
