Symønne is a DJ, producer, and vocalist whose unique sound fuses house, techno, ghettotech, Miami bass, and global club. With their gritty underground textures, playful lyricism, booty-shaking basslines, and her own live vocals, Symønne’s sets feel both raw and irresistibly fun. 

A lifelong musician, Symønne fell in love with electronic music in the Boston underground and began DJing in 2013. She first made a name for herself in San Francisco, supporting leading artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Moodymann, Carl Craig, Shiba San, DJ Minx, and more.

Since then, Symønne has evolved into an international artist, playing across multiple countries, festivals, and major venues—including her debut at Lightning in a Bottle in 2025. Her self-directed debut music video for her single “Leave Me” placed in semi-finals at LA Film Awards.

With a bachelors degree from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford, Symønne is passionate about making an impact beyond the decks. Off-stage, she is the founder of Blaque Mária, an all-woman DJ collective and education platform dedicated to uplifting women, LGBTQIA+, and Black artists in electronic music, as well as an activist for racial economic equity.

Whether she’s electrifying a dancefloor, releasing bold records like “Baby Mama” and “Say WHAT?!” (released on Humble House Records), or building community to drive change, Symønne represents a new wave of artists pushing electronic music forward with intention, authenticity, and unapologetic energy.
